Of all the keyboards and synth modules I've been thru over the years, ISTR 
that the only one that sent Active Sensing (FE) is my Korg DW8000, a vintage 
1986 big keyboard and hybrid digital-analog synth.  And there is an explicit 
control panel setup to turn it on or off.
