*First and foremost, I'm fine*
If you've watched the news at all, you've seen that my part of the country
(including sections of Chattanooga) got nailed by those deadly storms
yesterday. I'm happy to report that me and everyone I know is fine, to the
best of my knowledge no loss of homes, lives or properties.

That said there are people here who are hurting. Ringgold, GA (which is our
St. Paul or Kansas City, MO) did get hammered with a tornado, probably an F3
or F4. If you want to help, here's the best way to do it.

*Secondly Loopstock*
The delay in getting the word out was necessitated (in part) by the storms,
but it's confirmed. Tomorrow, I'll be playing another Loopstock show with
Atlantian Kevin "Kalimbaman" Spears. We'll be trading tunes all night,
probably starting around 9:30 or so. A little on the late side for me, but
The Dirty South are opening for Southern Culture on the Skids tomorrow and I
want you to be able to hit both shows if you want to.

Anyway, Kevin does what I do, except that his weird instrument is the
Kalimba which he plays with considerable skill. I've been trying top make
something like this happen for a couple of years now. This is something
you'll want to see.

*Tour Success, thank you*
Thanks to everybody who came out to all the shows on the last tour. In
addition to getting back to some of my favorite places (Fort Wayne,
Columbus, PGH) and some brand new venues like Lili's in Pittsburgh (cool!)
and Bayne's Books in Appomattox (an oasis if ever there was one). Plus I got
to meet some great new musicians (the Mackenzi's, Ben Shannon and my new
favorite band: Broken Fences--look for them in Chatt' soon). Thank you to
everyone who came to a show or took a private lesson. It was great to see
you all, I hope to get back to visit real soon.

Come out tomorrow and check out Kevin!

C-ya out there.
