[Coco] NitrOS9 question

Ok, so here's another question. I'm experimenting with creating a
no-frills OS9Boot that will boot on my CoCo3FPGA and so far I have taken
out the JoyDrv, SndDrv, RAMD, R0, and all of the window descriptors.
NitrOS9 boots and I get the signon message and a shell on Term but I
can't type anything from the keyboard. Why would that be?
