[Coco] A New CoCo Forum, just what we need?

I'm not here to defend whether a forum is of value to any majority of
people, and if there aren't already other solutions.

Many people have been posting in Facebook recently how hard it is to find a
topic for example, and when it comes to perhaps project based work,
development, etc., it may be of benefit.

Perhaps to better phrase the question, and at the risk of even sounding
rude, but I'm really not interested in people who don't like the idea, or
won't use it.

I'm only interested in knowing if this is going to be a benefit to even a
small part of the coco and retro community.

If there were 4 active users who were really cranking things out, and using
this as a tool to help their project, or share ideas, or get answers to
questions, and it was a benefit for a few people who were active and
supportive of it, then it makes sense to have something like this as a
community resource and as a community service. I'm lucky that my godaddy
hosting account allows me to have unlimited web sites, storage and
bandwidth, so it's no big deal to host it.

If a few developers of these retro ports used this to bounce ideas and
share information among themselves, and it helped shorten the development
cycle of a future CoCo product, it would be worth it to me.

Feel free to continue to use whatever form of communication that works for
you, but, if this is something that you may benefit from, then join the
forum, and give it a shot, if after like 90 days if it's a ghost town, I'll
reconsider, but the offer is and the forum are open to anyone who wants to
use it and give it a shot.
