The Model 6000 was a 68000 system with a Z80 co-processor. I read somewhere
once that Tandy tried pairing a 6809 as a co-processor with the 68000, and
it ran circles around the 6000 with the Z80. Why they did not pursue that
line I do not know, other than Tandy's thinking was already geared towards
PC compatibles and wasn't interested in pursuing the TRS-80 line anymore.
