Robert, I am trying to send HDBDos.wav from Cloud9 to the Coco2 to get Drivewire up and going. At least till I get a eprom burned. I just acquired this 64k Coco2 from ebay, which is the first real hardware I’ve had since the ‘90s.

Hey all,

I have been trying now for a couple days. Has anyone successfully used Audacity and a PC going to a Coco2 with a real cassette cable? I have been playing with volumes, but so far no success. I am trying mainly HDBDos.

Bill,

You have not said what the goal is. Are you trying to send programs to the Coco2 or do you have something else in mind? What if any errors are you seeing?

A critical issue will be to get the timing right, if you are trying to send programs that were created on your PC with an emulator. If the PC programs generating the cassette program files were running at 2MHz or higher, then you will need to get Audacity to slow down the transmission without changing the frequencies.

Robert
