I would suggest width 40 rather than 80. In NitrOS9, if you have the DISPLAY command handy, you can try:
DISPLAY 1B 24 1B 20 1 0 0 28 18 2 0 0 1B 21
for 40 columns, or

DISPLAY 1B 24 1B 20 2 0 0 50 18 2 0 0 1B 21
for 80 columns
