Ok, a few notes.
My hard disk image boots NitrOS9 level 2.
The game is designed to run, and does run under Microware OS-9 level 2.
The game does NOT run on NitrOS9 level 2 on physical hardware, even from an actual floppy disk.
The game DOES run on VCC on NitrOS9 level 2 AND Microware OS-9 level 2.
The games does require that /TERM be a 32 column screen.
On NitrOS9 level 2 on actual hardware the system stops responding after the game is started before the game switches to a graphics screen.
I have not found any reference /d0, and in any case I have tried running it from a real /d0 device using both NitrOS9 level 2 and Microware OS-9 level 2 with the results noted above.
I had not tried NitrOS9 level 1, it is interesting that it also did not work.

Everything else (that I have tried at least) does work. Shall I post it as is? I am no closer to getting Cave Walker working than I was a week ago, and I do not know when or if I will solve this. Thoughts? I have a separate disk image using the old Microware OS-9 level II that works on the CoCo SDC but I can not get it working on NitrOS9. The image also requires a customized version of HDBDOS for the CoCo SDC, so I think I will concentrate on making a user friendly program to install that to a flash bank and touch up my BASIC program that allow you to change the mounted CoCo SDC disks from basic. Feed back is welcome.
