[Coco] toolshed docs was Re: Reading a SuperIDE Compact Flash

Indeed it works!

Back to the CF image thread, I did on my Mac...

dd if=/dev/disk1 of=cf-image.dsk (disk1 is my SuperIDE CF attached to a
USB-CF reader).

... and ended up with 256MB file.

Downloaded and installed toolshed 1.0 (wasn't willing to install Mercurial,
download toolshed 2 and compile it for mac - yet...).

decb dir cf-image.dsk,:0 (or any ":<drive>") didn't work... either garbage
or it hung up.

Then I thought DECB might be getting confused because the image wasn't
"organised" as a bunch of disks, so I tried:

dd if=cf-image.dsk of=disks.dsk obs=4608 (4608 bytes per track, right?)

... that didn't work either. Also tried...

dd if=cf-image.dsk of=disks.dsk obs=9216 (maybe double density, or
something like that, but NO AVAIL)

Standard Mac dd doesn't have options such as "ssize" to try and re-organise
the file in "more detail" (so to speak), so I guess I will have to install
GNU dd...

Any hints?

Cheers,
Paulo.
