KAOS was originally intended to be a complete arcade game engine for the
CoCo III. Currently the only component being distributed is the
mini-os/runtime environment that was originally created for developing
GR2K/Digger II.
Ultimately I would like to move all the runtime system calls into the
MMU's task 1 map and access them via SWI calls much like OS-9 does.
This would move the 6k runtime out of the program space and provide a
full 64k for the game.
The concept behind KAOS was to create a system that acts much like the
hardware in arcade and console systems.
