H'llo all.

I was curious if any of you are familiar with, and could offer an opinion
on, any of the TCM programs from Jeffers Software for the Pocket PC? I'm
thinking about investing in some of this software to aid in my studies, but
would like to see what others think of the software first (as most of their
titles are rather expensive). This, however, seems to be the only company
currently making TCM titles for the PPC market, and based upon screen shots
and product info, they do look pretty good. All of the other programs I've
come across are for the PalmOS.

Their software titles include: tcmFX (TCM formula software), tcmHerbs
(single herbs software), AcuPoints 3.0, tcmDiag (diagnosis software) - which
comes in both standard and professional editions, as well as a somewhat
scaled down student version simply titled Student tcmDiag (which sells for
around $25 US). They also have a simple Point location testing program,
PointLoc 1.0 that is based on CAM, which sells for $10-$15.

Their site is:

Also, has anyone used any flashcard or quiz/exam generating programs on PPC?
I've found three that look pretty good - PocketExam, HandyCards 5.0, and
Examiner 1.3, all for $20 or less. I thought it might be helpful to use the
PPC to generate flash cards and tests to help with studying. Any comments?

Thanks in advance for any insight or help any of you may be able to offer.

Kindest Regards,

Andrea
