Hello all~
I am really glad to have tapped into this mailing list I look forward to discussing case studies! I just finished my first year of TCM studies at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington (Twin Cities) Minnesota. I look forward to working in the clinic in the winter. I am also involved in starting a newsletter at my school that consists of about 10 pages worth of legislative advances, TCM news, students studying abroad, and personal success stories related to TCM. The newsletter, Elements, currently only goes out to the students at my school (AOM, Chiro, and Massage) but we look forward to long term possibly hitting the midwest or even national. We are very small scale and just getting started, but I really want this to be a way for TCM students to unite and work together on getting TCM more recognition in the west! I am constantly thinking about what I will do when I am done with school it is nice to hear about all of you in other places it gets my mind churning with thoughts of travel outside the midwest!!! I look forward to hearing from all of you and discussing the nuances of our field! Until next time...Take care all...

Good idea, Steve
I'm beginning my last year at AOMA (Austin, TX). I started at IICM in Santa Fe. Both schools took pretty standard/PROC TCM teaching approaches, as best I can tell.
Plan to take the boards this Oct (less herbs - that will be next Summer). Don't have much time to contribute to the list, but like keep my toes in, at least. Class load this Summer turned out to be more demanding than I expected, and most weekends have been filled with seminars/classes.
My background is neuromuscular work in a chiropractor/acupuncturist office in a small town in Colorado. Love that kind of work, but trying hard to expand my knowledge into internal medicine and herbs.

It would be great to get some conversations gonig on this board. Maybe as an "icebreaker" everyone who's left on the board can introduce themselves. Where you're studying, what year, do you have any Yin left after Finals, etc., etc. Just an idea.
