[Reynolds-L] A Gift from RFA: $50 off your BigY Test!

BigY testing helps researchers reveal and use their Reynolds YDNA profile
to solve genealogical puzzles. Attached, you'll find an
article--originally published
in this quarter's RFA Dispatch newsletter--about how the Reynolds YDNA
Project is helping researchers and what you can do to advance your Reynolds
family history research.

The Reynolds Family Association (RFA) has just donated $500 to the Reynolds
Surname YDNA Project. These funds will provide a $50 discount to each of 10
Reynolds BigY test purchases or upgrades.

The cost of your BigY test will depend on the level of YDNA test you've
already completed. The range is ~$649 if you have had no YDNA testing at
FTDNA to $449 if you have had 111 STRs already tested. This subsidy will
bring these costs down to $399 to $599.

To receive the $50 discount on your BigY test or upgrade, you must:
1) Be a member of or agree to join the Reynolds Family Association
2) Be a Reynolds-surnamed male or have a Reynolds-surnamed male testing
representative, such as a brother, uncle, cousin, etc.
3) Be a member of or agree to join the Reynolds Surname YDNA Project
4) Give the Reynolds Project administrators "advanced" access to your kit.
This is necessary so the administrator can apply the RFA subsidy to your
purchase. If you choose to do so, you can reduce the administrators to
"limited" access after the purchase is complete.
5) Email tommyjoereynolds at gmail.com to reserve your discount. We only have
funding for ten $50 subsidies. I'll work with you on the procedure to apply
the discount to your order at FTDNA.

Only the first 10 tests/upgrades can receive this $50 gift from RFA.
