Welcome aboard new members.

My line is George Washington REYNOLDS Jr (1862-1935) with spouses Annie Victoria CARTER (1872-1919) and Elizabeth TURNER (1879-1940).

GW was born in Montgomery County, Al and died in Houston County, Al (probably vicinity Jellico Community).  It is believed his father is George Washington REYNOLDS Sr (1842-????), s/o William Glenn REYNOLDS (1813-1889) and Nancy JOHNSON (1820-aft 1880).  The only information found to date for GWR Sr is census records, 1850 & 1860.  He does not show on any other censuses in the U.S.  It is currently believed he married just before the CW broke out as he enlisted 1st Alabama Cavalry, Company B.  This unit participated in several battles in the Tennessee/Kentucky arenas and it is believe he probably died in one of those battles and is in an unmarked grave somewhere in that area.
