Hi Dave,
I've been running Papyrus successfully (and most gratefully!) for years on various 64 bit win7 systems using Microsoft's "XP Mode" and "Virtual PC". Browse to
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-and-use-windows-xp-mode-in-windows-7 for the procedure.

Kind regards,
Alan

There is workaroundfor Papyrus not running on Win. 7. Not great I guess but I use it in deference to something else. One can download virtual XP from Microsoft and run it simultaneously with 7. It looks like pic-in-pic on a TV screen. Any subset of the features of XP may be loaded along with the OS.

Give it a try?
Another possibility, though I have not tried it: Mendelay is a freebie available on-line. The most similar to Papyrus I have seen butof course, several different features. IUse it but keep my old Papyrus on XP.
Mendelay purports to import BIB files. That might work. I do use it to import directly from the Web.

I'm still an active user of Papyrus. It runs very well under the 32-bit version of Windows 7. On a laptop with 64-bit Win7 it's necessary to use the DosBox emulator, which is less elegant. I would be happy to convert a set of .BIB files to plain text, but I see that several others have already offered to do so.
