[Papyrus-L] Biblioscape?

Dear Hugh and Katherine

I changed over a few months ago, and did have some of the problems you
mentioned, but the biggest problem was getting the export (from Papyrus) and
import (to Biblioscape) format fields the same.

It would be easier if I had found a full export from Papyrus, rather than
the partial set that Papyrus and Biblioscape recommends (Ref Manager). On
the other hand, I had great fun adapting the Biblioscape import filter: It
was very easy and worked well. The main problems were that the start and
finish page numbers ended up in the same field in Biblioscape (not a
disaster), and some of the abstract and comments fields ended in the same
Biblioscape field and were duplicated (don't know how that happened, but no
real disaster).

I am very pleased with the adaptability of Biblioscape compared to Papyrus,
but Papyrus is still the best for giving warnings on entries, and the rigour
of the data.

Regards
Dave B
