Ok great jeff!. Here goes my first one. I am using a transistor to take the
ptt off my #6,and gimme about +3 to 6 volts to key my radio. About every 2
minutes it is keying by itself. I have attempted to add some resistance into
the ptt but that didnt seem to do it. Everything is bypassed too. I am used
to building antennas, playing with the digital modes,dx,ing, weak signal, but
for the last 5 months i have been attempting to educate myself on these
transistor things. I like tubes better! Any thoughts? Along with that,i am
thinking about using a vox setup instead, because i am using a delay board
and the transmit audio radio is unkeying just slightly before the audio is
ended. I need the full 2+ seconds on the delay due to the key up delay on
the re-transmit radio. I am hoping that others may get some insite form
watching this discussion. My current project is linking to some cellulkar
stuff. If any HAMS would like some details, email me direct and ill be glad
to share the nightmare with you :).

Hi all, glad im getting the mailers. My name is pat and i have been playing
with the boards for about 5 months now. I have been linking some specialized
systems together, and have learned a lot. Is this the place where i should
initiate discussions and maybe ask questions? My current experimenting is
for work, and is not amateur, so my stuff will be geared toward that, however
i imagine its all the same isnt it? :) ,de pat/wr6s
