[NHRC-user] NHRC-4/M2 Question

Just an update here it is Sunday afternoon and the unit keeps on ticking
with a courtesy tone every 4 minutes and then an ID at 10 and the cycle
starts over again. This is with no signal input that I know of now at the
repeater site.

Has anyone seen a TS-32 fail in this manner? The unit is on PL access only
so something is setting off controller on specific intervals.

The tones are reliable and it doesn't seem to have a problem there. I
installed the repeater back at the site last night.

Sitting here this morning with all thing quiet. I kerchunked the unit to get
it into an ID cycle. After the ID at the 4 minute point it does a key up
with a courtesy tone. Then again at 8 minutes and then I get an ID and the
cycle starts all over.

Could be the TS-32. The timing of it is what is so puzzling. It is way to
precise. I wouldn't think anything in the GE M2 base unit would cause this
as the only card in the rack is the 10 volt regulator and we are not using
anything else. I was thinking that maybe something in the pre-amp might be
going...but again it happens at specific times.

I actually turned down the ID volume and because of complaint early on
thinking it was a site related problem.

It will be beaten!

Dave

What is confusing to me is that both the CAS and PTT lights flicker.

This is why I thought it could be static discharge.

Do the DTMF tones reliably decode?
