Be a Part of our New Trail Ambassador Program

Are you someone who spends a lot of time on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail
or would like to get out there more? Are you interested in opportunities to
socialize with other Trail users, make friends and connections, or
professionally network with other like-minded people? Are you inspired to
share stories and advocate for the needs of users on the Three Rivers
Heritage Land and Water Trail?

We would like to invite you to our *upcoming Trail Ambassador Training
next Wednesday, August 16th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at our home office in Etna

   Be a friendly face on the trail

   Report conditions

   Share their favorite places, routes and trail stories

You will also have opportunities to help us table at events, festivals, and
community fairs - a great excuse to get out, meet new people, and talk
about trail advocacy!

Ambassadors can share stories about the Trail, helping us build positive
momentum around extending our trails along the riverfront, filling in gaps,
and raising money to complete trail networks. Your stories could make a
real difference - helping to tell the history and experiences of people in
our community around the trail.

*What to expect at the Trail Ambassador Training*

*At the Trail Ambassador Training and Social,* you will be able to meet
other Trail Ambassadors, hear about the different ways to participate,
learn about Friends of the Riverfront and the Trail, and get a Trail
Ambassador vest and printed materials! We will offer thorough instruction
on how to act as an Ambassador, how to report information back to Friends,
and what kind of benefits you can expect as an Ambassador.

*Trail Ambassador Benefits:*

Take advantage of discounts with our partners, like boat rentals with the 3
Rivers Outdoor Company, as well as a discount to our Autumn fundraising
event in October at Steel City Rowing!

Be the first to know about all of the things happening on and around the
trail, including upcoming events and new trail improvements.

Attend regular social events, access networking and career opportunities, and
host group rides or walks on the Trail.

Do something meaningful for your community.  You can help ensure the
riverfront trails in our region reflect the diverse communities around
them.
