PS. Some sad news:
If you came to the 1998 ceremony or to the 1999 ceremony, you met Troy Hurtubise. Troy was awarded the 1998 Ig Nobel Prize in the field of safety engineering, for developing, and personally testing, a suit of armor that is impervious to grizzly bears. 
Troy died last week.
