This works on my Mac, too!

So..."coco3" must refer to the .zip file in my Mame /roms directory

named "coco3.zip". It has inside:
>

> coco3.txt (94 bytes)

This also helped me understand how MAME works and I am now running MAME for
Apple Silicon! Thanks much. Using:
tony % mame -w coco3 -flop1 OS9II_1.DSK -flop2 OS9II_2.DSK

Opened mame and attached both OS9 Level II OEM disk images and it seems to
be functioning just fine. Unfortunately, the older images that I have are
not recognized:

tony % mame -w coco3 -flop1 BOOT2MEG.DSK

Tried to open mame but it quit immediately with the error message:

2025-03-25 06:51:04.266 mame[72553:13836038] +[IMKClient subclass]: chose
IMKClient_Modern
jvc_format: track count of 256 unsupported
Fatal error: Device 5.25" double density floppy drive load failed: Unable
to identify image file format

It seems to suggest that 1.2 Mb disk images are not supported in mame?

I was able to install the Hitachi 6309 rom and boot Nitros09 from its
original disk image so I think I am in good shape. I seem to recall there
was a Y2K patch for Nitros09, but I could be misremembering. Anyway, I'm
going to see if I can get things working again with my virtual hard disk.
It has a lot of files on it that I'd like to access, especially my Quick
Pascal program I wrote 25 or so years ago that provided a menu-driven
editing and compiling interface for Pascal09.

Thanks for the help.
