Hello John,
I am pleased to know you do enjoy these converted games ...
You are right, it is a long time since I published the last AGD
converted games
In fact pack #61 was dated 2023, April, the 28th and concerning the
SuperSprite-FM+ engine
that uses the V9958 video GPU, I mean the add-on sold by John Whitworth,
the very last pack
for it was #9 published on 2023, May, the 12th
Since then no news about new games. From time to time Kees van Oss and I
do find new
games and tell one each other so that we both can do the conversions
four our machines and
share solutions to problems found while converting them
Anyway, I will have a look at the AGD page for maybe there are new games
published since then ...
Another point that is reducing the number of new games is that there is
a version called MPAGD
that seems to be easier to use for the programmers but unfortunately it
creates Speccy images
not compatible with the decoders we use to convert the .SNA file into a
plain text with just
AGD commands
Lately I have entered a new project, it is by now jcalled "Learning how
to program the FM77AV2"
This is a japanese computer that has 128Kb, two 68B09 CPUs and 96 kb of
VRAM. Conceptually
it is not that simple to work with, but some colleagues in Retrowiki
have entered the opened threads
to talk about it
Besides we have the help of a japanese user (malikto999) that knows
about that machine and
he can translate the magazines or manuals, that only exist in japanese.
cheers!
