[Coco] What was used before EDTASM+?

I found the Bud Pass 6502 to 6809 translator in a flex archive dsk, but having never used flex, I don’t know what to do with it. The disk file is called trns6502.dsk.

bud pass also wrote a 6502 to 6809 translator. Anyone that has a copy of
that software pls let me know...
