Joshua, Where do you live?
A potential 'quick fix' if you can't solder is to use a small little push
clip on both ends of a wire. You push the button on the back of the clip
and a small little metal hook comes out. You can then hook the little metal
hook around an IC pin. Under the button is where the wire would wrap to.

So...

IC -- CLIP --- WIRE --- CLIP -- IC

There are many other styles and they are very cheap.

While not as ideal as soldering, it would do the job for something like the
composite video.
