I thought so based on some statements you have made in the past.  

I may give bread-boarding another trial run later in the year.  Primarily for learning. Right now max complexity that I am looking at is is connecting an 8 bit CPU to a FPGA (DE1) through voltage shifters. 11 chips total: 1 CPU and 10 4xChannel Logic Level Converter Bi-Directional Module 3.3V to 5V Shifter like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LG646VS   -- that aught to be bread-board-able.
