I'm assuming the readers is familiar with pin numbering on DIP ICs, 
where pin 1 is the dot, or the bottom left pin when the IC is viewed 
such that the indention in the side of the IC is on the left side.  
Given that orientation, +5V should be the leftmost pin on the top row, 
where pin 1 is on the bottom row.

I didn't want to say pin 14 or 16 or 20, because it differs...
