[Coco] Vintage Computer Festival Midwest 2019

Speaking of selling stuff at the fest, I have this Viewsonic 37" LCD TV/display which I need to pass along (hopefully not to the landfill!)

This is model N3760W. The link above the sig provides more techie info on this item. It works fine, almost. About a year and a half ago the speakers started to make a crackling sound when powered ON. This sound came from the audio system and sounds like white noise. It tapers off after a few minutes and finally disappears completely It became annoying to my wife and me to have to wait a few minutes for the content to be watchable (or more specifically, hearable).

I connected cheap PC external speakers to the TV and this worked great! I finally replaced the TV's motherboard and this seemed to fix the problem, but the issue resurfaced after a few days. Everything else works great on this TV and it is aesthetically in great condition, except for the remote which I dropped and its battery cover broke off. Given the cost of $34 for the new motherboard, I was initially asking $50 for the TV. For the fest, and wanting to clear some garage space, and hoping to motivate someone, I'll take $30 for it. That is, if I can fit it in the car.

Briefly, it has VGA, composite, s-video and HDMI inputs. It is retro PC friendly :-) If anyone is interested, I'll lug it to the fest. Aside from the TV, I'll throw in the motherboard that I replaced as I do not believe it is defective, or at most, the defect only affects the audio subsystem.

Hi John Mark - here is the simplified table chart so far:

http://vcfmw.org/media/vcfmw14_tables_simple.png

This is OK to share with anyone.  You are on an 8' table in room "B"
in the upper right against the wall, first dark green table.  Your neighbor to your left is Malcom Ramey.  Everyone else in dark green (the whole column from you down) is CoCo-related.

-------

It's not dark dark green, it's just dark green. Look for the Tandy green (see the key colors) in room "B".
The Glenside table is the 3rd one (down) in the upper right corner.

Contact Jason Timmons silent700 at gmail.com for more information.  Or contact info at vcfmw.org for more information.
