Given only 29860 cycles per frame at 1.89mhz.

The average cycles per instruction would be close to 5. So 29860/5 = 
5966 instructions to draw the
entire screen of 320x225 (or 72000) pixels.

Of course that's if you want 60 fps.  With 20 fps you get a whole aprox 
18000 instructions! Generous!!!
