My favorite CP/M machine is my coleco adam. It's crazy to think that in 1984 (a full 10 years after cp/m's original release) they released the Adam version of 2.2.

For SOME (I uppercase some because I mean not all) young people they don't have the same passion for nostalgia as us older folks (I'm 60 now) when it comes to computers, so think if it's old it's junk. I started out in the CP/M 2.2 days and never looked back. I have a few systems half my age or more! My niece is 30 and her mom (my sis) are the executors of my will. My sis told me that my 30 year old niece has suggested to just donate my stuff when I go to the happy computer in the sky. I hope she realizes the value as she gets older and figures out what I have can bring many bucks (many items are 20+ years old still shrink wrapped) and sells the stuff and keeps one or two for nostalgic sake. If some young people can't carry it in their back pockets they don't want it, we don't have the space to store it, it's too slow, can't play modern games, etc. I don't have any problems with modern tech - we're all techs so it's our thing. Without the old days of computers we wouldn't have the new days of computers. In my opinion one of the best new tech items Alexa mobile. It isn't 100% perfect, but the biggest plus is it's calling feature; it's totally hands free calling and answering. It beats all the headsets I've used, and it's safer for all behind the wheel of a vehicle.
Anyway . . . happy Thanksgiving!
P.S. Long live the junk!

Hi Reitveld,
Like Salvador I have talked to my kids and told them to look under each
item before they trash it or give it away. I have been trying to put notes
on all of my collection as far as what it is and an estimate of today's
value so they will have something to go by when I go to that Tandy Computer
Center in the sky. Additionally I made sure they can get on my FaceBook so
they can post things on my behalf to the groups I am a part of and ask the
experts for advice and help.
It sucks thinking about it, but the last thing I want is to put more stress
on my family and it will insure my collection will go to people that know
what it is and it will live on with a new caretaker.
