Most of the comments just had a few ignorant things, like "no gravity on the moon", and some of the "no flag shadow" comments. Some of those obviously from the (no) moon landing conspiracy believers. Angle of camera and sun as well as exposure of film easily explains the lack of shadow. Some pics do show a shadow, but conspiracy guys say they were doctored when no shadow was noticed... but even a photo taken on earth on a stage would have a shadow most of the time. 

If MIT had OS-9 and a CoCo1 to work with they'd have been in heaven!! Heck, I bet a CoCo1 with an ML program could easily do what the AGC did. BASIC would be pushing it, but with the advances in the CoCo1 (over 10 years newer!) it might be close...
