Tormod, what kind of price range? And are you planning boards with more memory?

Subject: [Coco] The MOOH board (MMU/SPI) for Dragon/CoCo1/2

Hi all,First batches of the MOOH board will soon be shipped out to those whopre-ordered. The MOOH is a cartridge board that incorporates 512 KB ofmemory and an MMU similar to the one in the CoCo 3, in addition to anSPI interface, SD card slot and a ROM socket. The main idea is toallow Dragon and CoCo 1/2 to run NitrOS-9 Level 2. The board is also agood platform for FUZIX. With an SD card and boot ROM, it is acomplete system for running these operating systems (no MPI needed, although supported). The board requires no modification or opening ofthe computer. It fits an FD-502 or CoCoSDC enclosure. The board has briefly been mentioned on the list, and there is a postwith more information at the Dragon forums:http://archive.worldofdragon.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5629The boards have been tested pretty well, and the software support havecome a long way*. Orders keep trickling in, so I am thinking of makinga larger batch of them. Now is therefore a good time to express yourinterest in the board. Except for the few first lucky ones there willbe some delivery time, whether I keep soldering myself or use anassembly service.Technical and general questions about the board is fine here on thelist. For orders please visit http://tormod.me and find contactinformation there - please don't repost here.*) FUZIX runs well using a non-optimized tweak of the dragon-nx32platform code. NitrOS-9 Level 2 boots and runs many commands, usingDriveWire (other disk solutions should work in an MPI), there is aboot module for the built-in SD card but no driver module yet (rbsupershould be the way to go). Well supported in XRoar.Best regards,Tormod-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
