[Coco] Which is better?

VCC has a few inaccuracies- but it is much easier to set up/run than MAME. As a Robert mentioned, it only does the barest of artifacting colors, it sometimes has problems setting palettes properly at all on VDG screens, it has an incomplete implementation of the 6309 (hardware divide are, for example, not implemented), and it only supports one external hard drive image at a time.
MAME fixes all of these issues, but is much clunkier to run and set up, and is updated so often (apparently with incomplete testing) so that there is a chance that some parts of it break with each release. Neither is perfect.
