Hey Gene. Sorry that u are running into problems finding a newer version of PlayonLinux.   I don't have a link to anything newer than what I am running. If u find a suitable PlayonLinux build you will be able to install skype this way

Anyway as far as windows goes.   If u don't want to hack the REG to exploit ‎the ‎slmgr -rearm command then another solution would be to just score a dirt cheap XP machine from a thrift store. You can gointo the system and pull the 'key' from it. Go to the Microsoft site and use the 'kEY' to upgrade windows for free

Anyway enough coco for now.

My youngest son turns 16 in a few months.   I am building him a 1971 Norton Commando Bobber for his birthday.    I built my oldest son a 1968 Triumph when he started riding and I want to do the same for my youngest.

I seem to keep myself out of trouble by wrenching on 'OLD  IRON' or 'OLD COMPUTERS'
