U can improve the quality of the rf output by using a coax to RCA adapter instead of the switch box.   They r only a buck or two

My CoCo 1 has good RF output (tested with an old color TV), so I think I should be good to go 😊

Such a timely question as I have two CoCo 1s with bad modulators. I'm going
to remove the RF modulators and install a basic circuit that is in the
Motorola MC6847 datasheet.

I have built 3 of Ed's older boards, which you can download from OSH Park.
His work is extremely good. Again, it's an older version. So my
recommendation in order:

1) CoCoVGA
2) Ed's new board
3) Ed's older board (OSH Park)
4) MC6847 circuit (Pretty simple enough to build)

BTW, before you go through these steps, if your video signal isn't working
from your CoCo 1, be sure you have spent time fiddling with the RF POTs.
