This you can do using a set of NitrOS-9 utilities Barry made to
mount/unmount/create disk images from within NicrOS-9. Then using the
format command you would then be able to format the disk image.

This option is not possible with the way the CoCoSDC is designed. You
would need to create a new disk image and copy your files to it and then
using the "os9" utility from the Toolshed Project to extract the files from
the disk image.

NitrOS-9 to mount/unmount/create disk images. Then you can use the format
command to then format the disk image.
