[Coco] Does this printer work with a coco?

You can get a brand new 9 pin dot matrix printer WITH a serial port for just under $200 -- all you need to do is make a cable to go from the CoCo 4 pin to a standard RS-232C 25 pin for a printer. Not hard to do... instructions are in "Tandy's Little Wonder" (ftp://maltedmedia.com/coco/MAGAZINES/Tandy%27s%20Little%20Wonder/ -- you want TLW2.pdf). These are still used for printing multi-part forms and with some POS systems that utilize serial ports. If you need a high quality 24 pin printer cost will be over double. An Okidata 24 pin will run near $400, and you will need the optional COM (serial) port board that sells for around $65-75. So plan on $500 for 24 pin. Much better than that much for a used printer and serial to parallel interface...
