[Coco] RS-232 Pak problems

The rs232 pak only uses 9 of the 25 pins on the pak connector

Pin 1.   Ground
Pin 2.   Transmit data
Pin 3.    Receive data
Pin 4.    Request to send
Pin 5.    Clear to send
Pin 6.    Data set ready
Pin 7.    Signal ground
Pin 8.    Carrier detect
Pin 20. Data terminal ready

The RS-232 pak took 12V??? Didn’t the 12V drop after the CoCo 1 days?
