> It looks like those disks are missing the JVC header bytes. I added two bytes, $12 $02, to the beginning of the images for Space Quest 1 and they now work with MacMAME 0.186 patch 2. I will test the new disk images with VCC and a physical CoCo and send them to the archive if they work as expected. I believe MAME no longer supports the headerless .os9 disk format. I have not compiled MAME version 0.189 yet, so I do not know if that has another issue or not.

MESS/MAME generally never supported and OS-9 disk which had a .dsk extension. All OS-9 disks should 
use the .os9 extension to ensure proper functioning with MESS/MAME.
