Carefully open it and check your controller circuitry for faulty capacitors (pop corn effect) or other traces of broken/burned parts.
Check also with another computer with disks that are working well and proven.
Send pictures!

Thanks guys for you response. I will have to go through them and take
notes on them and reply about what I find.
I will clean them and try another cable but I have only one controller.
It worked last year but of course it could have
went bad while stored in my garage as the floppy worked as well. I get
an IO Error reading from the Coco on all of them.
only one turns on the red LED when I do a DIR command but that one runs
all the time after powering it up. The other 2
don't run or turn on the red LED. That's all I have for now. Will have
more later.
