I agree. Someone put the energy into writing the app. If you like it enough to use it then you should buy it.

At $2.49 USD, why expend the necessary energy to get a pirate copy? :-) Salvador

Thank you for the steps :) Will for sure be helpful to those who have a
Chromebook. Going to repost your steps below with new lines between each #
step.
----------------------------------------------------
1. Put your chrome book into developer mode
2. enable 'unknown sources '
3. Download the. Apk file and save it to your DOWNLOAD folder (unless you
have play store installed then you can just download and install from
there) Pls note that DOSBOX is free but DOSBOX TURBO is a payed apk. Both
are readily available but I do not condone the download and use of pirated
apk's. That is your choice
4. Download and install 'solid explorer'. Chrome OS has a built in file
explorer but for some reason it will not let you install. Apk files with
it. I suspect it's Googles way of forcing you to install everything via the
Play Store. ; but a lot of cheaper chrome book knock offs don't come with
it :(
5. Sideload the DOSBOX apk by running 'solid explorer ' and navigating to
the 'DOWNLOAD ' folder and clicking on the. Apk. Select package installer
and install the. Apk
6. Download Jeff vavasour's coco2b or coco3 emulator and unzip it into its
own folder. Rename the folder coco for ease of use. Now move the new folder
'coco' and place it in the download folder on your chromebook
7. Download the appropriate ROM (coco2,coco3) from the archive site and
place in the Coco folder
8. Open DOSBOX (TURBO). It will default drive C: to the Download folder but
you must still mount the drive to use it
9. Use the command MOUNT C:/MNT/DOWNLOAD C: CD COCO COCO Note. : MOUNT is
mounting the DOWNLOAD folder as drive C Entering C: changes you to this
drive Entering CD COCO moves you to the emulator folder that you created
called COCO COCO executes the emulator
10. Add any. Dsk image to the COCO folder and insert into the appropriate
drive of the emulator using the MENU command 'L' Load and run coco programs
just like you would on VCC Pls remember that Chrome OS,unlike Android OS,
will need to have the Developer mode switch flipped and 99 percent of the
time the apk's will need to be sideloaded. You will see a warning notice
every time you boot your chromebook up in developer mode but you can skip
this by pressing 'CTRL D' to skip it
