Wayne, try the OS9 L2 Technical Reference manual
The cmds you are looking for are:
SS.ScSiz Returns the window or screen size
SS.ScTyp Returns the type of screen
SS.FBRgs Returns fg, BG, and border palette regs for a window
These are getstat calls.

Subject: [Coco] reading the current window settings
Actually, this is specifically about determining what the currentforeground/background colors are in the current window or term in NitrOS-9.I want to be able to set variables to the values of the current colorsettings so I can return the window to the previous settings once myprogram finishes. I know how to set the colors, but I don't know how toread them.Help?-- WayneThe Structure of I-Codehttp://www.cocopedia.com/wiki/index.php/The_Structure_of_I-Codedecodehttp://cococoding.com/wayne/-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
