Found some history links.Allied Radio Corp. ; Chicago manufacturer in USA, Model type
Tandy bought Allied Radio in 1970. Became Allie Radio Shack in 1971. 1971 Catalog (and older/newer Allied Radio catalogs back to 1930). Of course the Allied Radio Shack name didn't appear until 1971. After that the Allied name was apparently still used for industrial customers, Radio Shack for consumers...
