[Coco] error 249

"DMODE /Dn stp=03 typ=03 cyl=50 DNS=3" Per Gene.

The "lsn0" program I used is on the SHF888.dsk (zip) disk on my website:

http://home.mindspring.com/~sfischer1/

I bet that DNS=3 is the value which is incorrect for a 40T2S floppy. Earthlink's demise may prevent me from fixing it.

Somebody please tell us what the other program that will read "any" lsn0 sector and display the data in human understandable format.

SHF

No, Gene reported that a change was made to NitrOS-9 so DNS=3 is suggeated.

But then you may run into many .dsk on the Internet that have DNS=1. So remember to check the DNS in all disks downloaded from various parts of the Internet.
