With some 1.2Mb drives, it is possible to set some jumpers or rewire them to run at double density rotational speeds. They then become 720k drives, which the CoCo can use. Another possibly better option is to adapt a 3 1/2 inch 1.44Mb drive, of course that doesn’t help your “coasters”.
