[Coco] VCC full screen mode and Windows 10

Steve (and others with simular full screen problems), I've found that one thing that causes issues in full screen mode is the "status" bar which updates steadily during emulation. It's almost like a 2nd window and seems to flicker when in full screen mode. F10 removes the status bar (and flicker) and usually stabilizes the screen, even after turning it back on (no flicker). It's a quick and dirty fix, but it works.

Another thing with full screen vs windowed is that in windowed mode, any Coco program using the <ALT> key (I have a few) is hampered by window's use of the <ALT> key to select menus from the menu bar (ALT-F opens the File menu etc). In full screen, windows keys are blocked and <ALT> works as intended in the Coco emulation. I am usually running VCC on either a 13 inch or 15 inch square monitor, so the aspect ratio is correct on my monitors in both full screen and maximized. I obtained both of these monitors just for use with VCC and the Coco3FPGA so I didn't have to looked at stretched wide screens as I hate that.

Bill, I went back, and tried again, and I can use F11 and F10 to turn fullscreen on and off again (I'm using Windows 10) and I didn't have the screen"seizure" issue. Also, I have signed up for GitHub, and I have left a few comments on thecurrent list of reported issues, I'll try and report actual ones Iencounter in the future.Steve Strowbridge, akaThe Original Gamer Stevie Strowhttp://ogsteviestrow.comogsteviestrow@gmail.comOn Thu, Jun 1, 2017 at 3:52 PM, Steve Strowbridge <ogsteviestrow at gmail.com>wrote:> Thanks for the information Bill, and hopefully I have not offended anyone> who does work on this, or plans to, I like the product, and I use it, and I> will try and put some of my "two cents" in the proper place on the site.>>> Steve Strowbridge, aka> The Original Gamer Stevie Strow> http://ogsteviestrow.com> ogsteviestrow at gmail.com>>> On Thu, Jun 1, 2017 at 1:22 PM, Bill Pierce via Coco <coco at maltedmedia.com> > wrote:>>> Steve, we may actually have a new release coming and may have the aspect>> issue resolved.
