Steve, you forgot your other shameful plug, the Coco Talk that you host on Saturdays.

This is another resource that is becoming an informative attraction.

Regards, Salvador

To the talented CoCo Crew, John, Neil, and Mike, I can't thank you all
enough for you on-going efforts and contributions to the CoCo community.

The CoCo Crew Podcast was the first Podcast I ever listened to, when I
started, I had about 6 episodes to catch up on, so I was able to binge
listen, and that was really enjoyable.  Once I caught up, I found myself
having to wait, what felt like an eternity for another episode, a whole
month!

But, each month, you continue to produce a very well organized show, with
tons of information, news, review, interviews, tech segments and more.
The show continues to get better over time, the format tweaks, host
discussions, occasional interviews, etc.

When Mike Rowen transitioned from "Friend of the Show" to "Member of the
Show" the show reached legendary status.
The audio production Mike does for you show, are of stellar quality, not
only the actual production, but even more so, the content itself, is
completely entertaining, and of the highest caliber.

It was mentioned before that your show is the modern equivalent of getting
the Rainbow magazine in the mail, and I could not agree more.

It's hard to believe that you are starting your 3rd year, and that each
month, month after month, there is usually an hour's worth of news to talk
about.  It's exciting to know there is that much going on in the CoCo and
Retro community at large.

On the note of the news and announcements, not only are you keeping
everyone informed on a large variety of things going on each month, but you
are also providing some much appreciated validation to what people are
doing.  There are a lot of people working on a lot of projects, from
hardware devices, to software projects ranging from porting things to the
coco to working on new and original titles.

While I'm pretty sure none of these people working on CoCo projects are
trying to get rich from them, and to an even lesser extent are seeking the
fame/fortune/glory of their efforts, it's very nice to be acknowledged, and
validated, and even congratulated for your efforts, and, only speaking for
myself, I very much appreciate your efforts in that arena, of fanning the
flames of creativity which hopefully not only helps the people who are
working on things feel rewarded for their efforts, but will inspire more
people to pick up a project and start working on it.

The CoCo Crew Podcast was the primary reason why I wanted to go to
CoCoFEST! these past two years.  While I heard about the event, and even
looked at the website for the event, nothing jump out at me as "hey, you
really got to go to this thing", but hearing you guys talks about the
event, month after month, and then even doing a special episode where you
answered a ton of questions, like, what's the best airport to fly into,
should I stay Sunday, what to expect, what to do, you name it, it was the
most effective advertising and motivation out there.

Neil Blanchard's Games Corner has inspired me to try out a ton of different
CoCo games I never even heard of, and I've enjoyed everyone that he's
suggested.  Neil is also starting to become the breakout star of the show,
as his corner is expanding, and his charm is shining through on his
extended segments. I predict a Neil Blanchard spinoff podcast sometime in
the future :)

I owned CoCos for 6 years in the 80's and used them every day of my life
for the six years, read a ton magazines was members of clubs, etc., and
though I knew "it all" when it came to all things CoCo, but I learned more
in the first 6 episodes of the Podcast than I knew during the entire 80's
of owning a CoCo.

For anybody new to the community, who wants to know what are the "must
haves" and "must knows" about "all things CoCo" are, your show is in a very
short list of things, which I'll provide below:

Things all CoCo Enthusiasts should know about and reference:
1.  Boisy and Bill's book "CoCo - The color history of Tandy's Underdog
Computer"
2.  The CoCo Crew Podcast
3.  The CoCo Mailing List
4.  The CoCo Facebook group
5.  The Color Computer Archive
6.  (shameful plug) My 90's inspired links page which ties all these
together; http://imacoconut.com

Thank you CoCo Crew for all you do, it means a lot, and each month, your
show is anxiously awaited for and enjoyed by me.
