I think that same snow storm that is going to be hitting you guys is going
to be reaching all the way down here in Nebraska. :O

As far as the $4 USB chip I still need to look at the documentation for
that, but sounds like a nifty idea.
There are a LOT of these Arduino compatible micro controller devices out
there now that can do nifty stuff.

I had seen a person who wrote Arduino code for converting a AT/PS2 keyboard
to XT keyboard for using newer PS2/AT keyboards on those older systems that
require XT keyboards.

So yes there are a LOT of possibilities for projects on this stuff.  I
myself am waking up and seeing all kinds of possibilities myself.
