Stephen, one problem could be since you're using DriveWire, entering the Inn may have a disk load, which may be much slower on DW than a real disk or CocoSDC. I don't have Forrest of Doom, so I couldn't say for sure.

Subject: [Coco] FOD on CoCo3FPGA

I finally got around to loading FOD onto my CoCo3FPGA. It plays a little bit differently there. The main music pieces are a little bit off, and there are short lags, like when you enter an inn. On the CoCo 3, the graphics and music associated with the inns come up instantly, and on the CoCo2FPGA there is a 1-2 second lag, just enough so that you get nervous that something’s gone wrong.Has anyone else tried this? Can anyone else offer their experience between a CoCo 3 and a CoCo3FPGA?Thanks.smp- - -Stephen PereiraBedford, NH 03110KB1SXE-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
