[Coco] Glenside IDE + Multi-Pak + HDB-DOS

The HDB-DOS source code states:

Is this simply because HDB-DOS assumes that the Glenside IDE card base address is $FF70, which causes a conflict with the Multi-Pak slot select register at $FF7F? Will HDB-DOS work with a Glenside IDE card in a Multi-Pak if the Glenside card is jumpered for a base address of $FF50 and HDB-DOS is patched accordingly?
