[Coco] Paging Dr. Lester Hands?! :)

I'm a c# (Microsoft web stuff mostly) dev... I used to code basic and a little assembly for the coco when I was a kid.  I also have a recording studio... I used to use coco midi pro and moved to cadenza then to a hardware sequencer (Yamaha qy700)... recently tho... I miss the coco and would love to make a sequencing/producing type program.  I'm not into graphic staffs... more into music production... like perhaps adding a drum sequencing bit to Coco MIDI Pro... perhaps higher resolution screens... etc.... 

I'm just getting started but thought it would be interesting to see how Lester did it... get some basic pointers.

Randy, Lester is not monitoring this list. I was in touch with him a couple of years ago and I will send you a private email with his address.
As for CocoMIDI Pro, what do you need to know? I aquired the sources from Lester and plan to make them compilable for the Coco and/or LWTools, but haven't had much chance to work on it. Lester originally used the "AVMAC" commercial cross-assembler for the PC (very expensive) and there's a lot of changes needed before it's compilable on anything else.
I may can answer your questions on CocoMIDI Pro as I'm an avid Coco MIDI user (even today).
